Refund policy
Thanks for choosing BentoKid. We hope you love what you bought, but if you’re not happy, here’s how refunds work.
1. Who Can Get a Refund
We offer refunds only for stuff you buy straight from our website (bentokid.com). If you bought from a third-party seller, their rules apply.
You’ve got 14 days from delivery to start a refund.
Items must be unused, with all the original packaging, tags, and accessories. If you received something damaged or wrong, that’s on us just let us know.
If you used the item, damaged it, or it’s no longer in its original condition, we can’t give a full refund.
Anything marked “Final Sale” or sold at a big discount usually isn’t eligible for a refund. Check the product page for details.
2. What’s Not Refundable
Usually, these things aren’t refundable (unless they arrived faulty):
- Clearance, sale, or “Final Sale” items
- Anything used, worn, washed, or changed
- Change of mind after 14 days from delivery
- Items without proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
3. How to Get a Refund
Email support@bentokid.com with:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you want to return
- Why you want a refund
- Photos (if it’s damaged or defective)
After you contact us, we’ll review your request. If it’s approved, we’ll tell you how to send the item back.
Use trackable shipping unless we say otherwise. You’re responsible for return shipping unless the item was damaged, incorrect, or we made a mistake.
Hold onto your shipping receipt and tracking info until your refund comes through.
4. How Refunds Work
Once we get your return and check it over, we’ll let you know if your refund is approved.
If it is, we’ll process it within 7 business days. The money goes back to your original payment method.
Your bank or payment provider might take a little extra time to post it.
Shipping costs (original and return) aren’t usually refunded, unless it’s our fault or the item was faulty.
5. If You Get Something Faulty, Damaged, or Wrong
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or it’s just not what you ordered, email us within 48 hours. Include your order number, the item, and photos.
We’ll either:
- Give you a full refund, or
- Send a replacement if we have one
We’ll also cover reasonable return shipping in these cases.
6. Exchanges
Right now, we mostly do refunds, not direct exchanges. If you want something different (like another size or color), get in touch. We’ll help you figure out the best option—return and reorder, credit, or something else.
7. Cancelling Orders
If you want to cancel before we ship your order, email support@bentokid.com right away with your order number. If we’ve already shipped it, you’ll need to follow the return process above.
